Anders Peev
My passion lies in creating music for drama.
I weave together music and narrative, composing and performing for theatrical productions in Sweden, while also running a storytelling company called Musikteater Unna.
I am specialized in Scandinavinan traditional music, the Swedish tenor nyckelharpa, the bass mandora and the 17th century style nyckelharpa.
All my projects are recorded and mixed by myself in my studio. I play different kinds of folk lutes, I write quite a bit for choirs, and I have a musical background in the 1980s’ heavy metal as a guitar player.
I have recorded and released two CDs on my record label Nanoq Recordings and co-recorded and released CDs for other labels as well. I have a degree in nyckelharpa, film scoring and composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
